COVID-19 Preparedness for Healthcare Professionals (2.5 CME)

This 2-hour program contents are designed to provide all Health Care Workers (HCWs) with an update and overview of the COVID-19 Preparedness Plan, including current standards of practice, special patient populations, legal aspects, a comprehensive review of current guidelines, as well as what should the facility have in case of both normal care and COVID-19 patients care.

After completion of the course the participant will be able to:

• Define the purpose and list who's responsible for each part of the plan against COVID-19.
• Define the basics of the COVID-19 virus, including its spreading method
• Define and classify a COVID-19 case
• Define lab diagnoses criteria, be able to report positive results, store and ship lab tests according to DOH guidelines.
• Describe what you can do to protect yourself and others from COVID-19
• List the responsibility of the facility for the staff and against COVID-19
• Gain the knowledge about what to do when developing symptoms of COVID-19
• Gain the knowledge of dealing with a suspected case of COVID-19 in the workplace
• List the benefits of the Al Hosn app and know how to stay informed
