Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association (CAIA)

Overview:

This is a preparatory program for CAIA Certification. Level 1 evaluates your ability to assess different assets and understanding different tools and techniques used to see the risk-return ability of each asset. 

Level 2 establishes the techniques used to apply the knowledge and skills of Level 1 within a portfolio management context.  Segments of professional conduct and ethics will also be discussed at both levels. 

Certification Features:

- Learn about alternative investments

- Curriculum updated as per industry development on a regular basis

- A pathway to become CAIA Association Member

Level I

- Professional Standards and Ethics (15-20%)

- Introduction to Alternative Investments (20-25%)

- Real Assets (10-20%)

- Hedge Funds (10-20%)

- Commodities (10-15%)

- Private Equity (5-10%)

- Structured Products (10-15%)

- Risk Management and Portfolio Management (5-10%)

Note: It is recommended by CAIA Association at least 200 or more hours of study should be devoted to this level to prepare better.

- Professional Standards and Ethics

- Hedge Funds and Managed Futures

- Structured Products

- Asset Allocation and Portfolio Management

- Risk and Risk Management

- Manager Selection, Due Diligence, and Regulation

Note: It is recommended by CAIA Association at least 200 or more hours of study should be devoted to this level to prepare better.
