The course includes underpinning knowledge of Confined Space legislation, identification of confined spaces and their associated hazards, confined space risk assessments and Safe Systems of Work for Confined Space Operations & much more.
The aim of this course is to prepare candidates to enter, work and exit low and medium risk confined spaces safely. It involves training on Access Equipment (Tripods, Rescue Retrievers), Confined Space Rescue harness, Atmospheric monitoring equipment and the use of Emergency Escape Sets, and the duties of the Safety Attendant.
The course includes underpinning knowledge of Confined Space legislation, identification of confined spaces and their associated hazards, confined space risk assessments and Safe Systems of Work for Confined Space Operations and the legal requirement and importance of a Confined Space Rescue Plan.
This course is delivered within the framework of the National Occupational Standards for Confined Space Training.

Prepare and use emergency escape breathing apparatus in accordance with manufacturers' specifications
Follow procedures and work safely
Prepare to enter, work and exit a Low and Medium risk Confined Space safely
Principles of Confined Space Hygiene
Demonstrate an understanding of Confined Space Emergencies and how to deal with them
Who should take this course?
All personnel who have to enter Low and Medium Risk confined spaces and act as a Safety Attendant (Topman).
Certification:
At the end of the course, you'll be appearing for an exam. Each candidate will be obtaining a certificate upon successfully clearing the exam.
