Established in 2005, Rahal Ranch is a family business that has been built upon a passion for horses, passed down through generations. Our core values include keeping up to date with the constantly evolving world of equine management which allow us to maintain a constant stronghold as pioneers within our industry.
Rahal Ranch is located just outside of Abu Dhabi, nestled amongst the breathtaking dunes of the Al Wathba Desert. The ranch is owned and run by internationally acclaimed horse trainer Ali Al Ameri.
Ali is renowned for his expertise in fixing problem horses and training horses and riders for films and live events!
The ranch offers riding lessons for all abilities, advanced training for both horses and riders, desert hacks and the opportunity to stay with us for residential training, riding holidays or just to relax and enjoy ranch life!
Riding Lessons
We offer lessons for riders of all abilities and ages!
Children can start lessons from 3 years old, we offer pony rides for those wishing to discover if they have a passion for riding.
Our experienced instructors are carefully selected and certified by International horse master Ali Al Ameri. You will learn about all aspects of riding and horsemanship including grooming, tacking-up, behaviour management and so much more!
Desert hacks are available for the more experienced riders who can control a horse in walk, trot and canter. Prior to hacking you will be asked to join us for a short riding assessment.
Learn to ride like you are an action movie star! Ali and his team will teach you all the stunts of the trade and bring out your inner acrobat! Only suitable for confident, intermediate riders from AED350 per lesson!

Liberty Training
Liberty training teaches humans how to develop an intimate connection with their horse. The principles of this method are based on how horses behave and interact in their natural environment - the herd. Ali Al Ameri is without doubt the master of this art and offers courses, including residential, of all lengths. Please contact us for details.

Each lesson lasts for 45 minutes and a total of 60 lessons will be taught. It will teach you abou changing leading rein, controlling the direction, troting and and walking etc.
You will understand how to communicate with the horse and give horse instructions from a distance.
Lessons must be taken within the span of 2 months, after which packages expire.
