ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems Lead Auditor

Learning objectives:

• The aim of this course is to provide delegates with the knowledge and skills required to perform first, second and third-party audits of occupational health and safety management systems against ISO 45001, in accordance with ISO 19011, as applicable. In detail, the training course will provide technical knowledge and practical skills to become a competent Lead Auditor. Amongst others you will learn about:

• Understand the operations of an Occupational Health and Safety Management System based on ISO 45001.

• Learn how to interpret the requirements of ISO 45001 in the context of an OH&S MS audit.

• The PDCA cycle and its application to occupational health and safety management system processes.

• The core elements of a management system and the interrelationship between top management responsibility, policy, objectives, planning, implementation, measurement, review and continual improvement.

• The audit process including how to conduct, report and follow-up OH&SMS audits, including various audit methodologies, questioning techniques, roles and responsibility in order to collect and analyze evidence, exercise objectivity and make decisions on the significance of observation made in accordance to relevant audit criteria

Day 3 | On-Site Audit Activities

• Preparing the Stage 2 audit (on-site Audit)

• Documentation of the audit and the audit quality review

Note:

• Students who passed the continuous assessment and the 2-hour closed book examination will be awarded a Certificate of Successful Completion. Based on IRCA policy, this course satisfies the training requirement for certification as an IRCA registered OHS Lead Auditor/Auditor
