Course Details

This is an interactive 5-day workshop designed to give you knowledge of becoming a Lead Auditor. This training is registered with International Registrar of Certified Auditors (IRCA) and it fulfils the requirements for applying for an Auditor/Lead Auditor to the IRCA Scheme.

By the end of this training, you will be able to perform first, second and third party audits of QMS against ISO 9001:2015 as per the guidelines of ISO 19011 and ISO 17021 as applicable.

Learning Outcomes:

- Describe the purpose of a quality management system (QMS)
- Explain the purpose, content and interrelationship of ISO 9000:2015, ISO 19011:2011, and ISO 17021:2011
- Explain the high level structure and risk based approach
- Describe the roles and responsibilities of auditors and lead auditors
- Interpret the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 within the context of audit
- Plan and conduct an audit in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO 17021 and demonstrate the ability to:
- Gather objective evidence, through effective interviewing, observation, sampling and note taking
- Plan and prepare effectively
- Analyze and interpret information in order to determine conformance with requirements
- Undertake audit follow-up activities, including evaluating the effectiveness of corrective action
- Report the audit, including writing valid, factual and value-adding non-conformity report
