DurationThe course introduces the student to the dangers that exist when lifting a load, or using slings, cables or chains to move a load, while operating a Jib Crane.
All employers should consider this course as part of mandatory safety training for every employee who operates lifting machinery, and uses slings, chains, ropes, while carrying out their job function.
Students will learn how to operate the crane in a safe manner, determine or calculate the weight of a load so they can select correct lifting slings and the carrying out and methods of safely attaching slings to a and the carrying out and methods of safely attaching slings to a load and its safe transportation.
