Core competencies required to manage a workplace
The MBA has six taught modules each worth 20 credits, in addition to and followed by a 60 credit project. Four of the taught 20 credit modules are core and common across all pathways of the MBA. These relate to the core areas of competence which business professionals need to effectively manage their workplace responsibilities. In addition, there is a compulsory Personal and Professional Development module designed to support your leadership aspirations.
International Consultancy Project
The MDX MBA International Project offers students the opportunity to a develop global perspective of key management issues. The one-week project is designed as an intensive group learning experience aimed at developing and applying skills needed to critically examine a challenging global issue and the interrelationships between the global and local business environments.
On the 2023 International Field Trips to Paris and Milan students were introduced to industry best practices in the luxury retail sector and undertook guided field research to immerse themselves in the luxury fashion, retail and beauty industries.
Applied Learning and Executive Skill Development:
Your personal and professional development is central to the MBA. Throughout the programme you will have the opportunity to engage with a range of Applied Learning Experiences and Executive Skills Development workshops that will support you in identifying your own individual strengths and areas for development in terms of your leadership capabilities and wider professional effectiveness.
