Basic Machinery and Equipment Safety Training

Course Objectives:

Participants will be able to:

• Identify machinery and equipment hazards in the workplace

• Eliminate and reduce the risk of those hazards causing harm

Course Description:

During the use of machinery and equipment, workers can be struck and injured by the moving parts of machinery or ejected material or be drawn in or trapped between parts of the machine. This training aims to raise awareness among employees in order to protect them from the hazards and risk from the machinery and equipment that they are using.

 Who Should Attend:

This program is excellent to manager, supervisor or anyone who uses machine and/or equipment as part of their work.

Course Outcome:

By the end of this session delegates will be able to understand the different hazards and able to protect their self from this risk. This also helps delegates to ensure that machinery, tools and equipment to be used are safe prior its use. This course helps delegates to gain confidence to use machinery , tools and equipment safely.
