Introduction

Forex is a portmanteau of foreign currency and exchange. Foreign exchange is the process of changing one currency into another for a variety of reasons, usually for commerce, trading, or tourism.

According to a 2019 triennial report from the Bank for International Settlements (a global bank for national central banks), the daily trading volume for forex reached $6.6 trillion in April 2019

After attending this workshop, participants will be able to:

• Know the various channels, platforms, market conventions & practices for transacting and dealing in the FX market

Assessment:

As part of the certification requirement, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.

Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.

Session 3

• Overview and Essentials of Technical, Fundamental & Sentiment Analyses
