MBA with a Major in New Media and Information Management

The programme is tailored to industry professionals of different educational backgrounds with an undergraduate degree and a minimum of three years’ experience in a relevant field.

This MBA majors is a part of MBA degree which is organized as a 1-year programme (additional 6 months for thesis). It comes with a special focus on the thorough and drastic transformation in the fields of communicaion and cooperation processed which happened through the new media technology, both within and across organisations.

Admission Criteria:

Students are required to:

• Complete high school studies
• Proof of a Bachelor university degree with a minimum duration of three years or completion of an equivalent degree relevant to the content of the study programme
• Professional working experience (minumum 3 years)
• Appear for formal admission interview conducted in person or video Skype

In exceptional cases, admission of students who do not hold a university degree is possible if they can provide proof of an equivalent qualification.

It can be some diploma courses, further education along with extensive and relevant professional experience and other career related achievements. In such cases, proof of a secondary school leaving certificate must be submitted.

English Proficiency Test:

For all those whose first language is not English, they have to provide proof of their English proficiency level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages through one of the following tests:

• TOEFL Internet-Based Test (IBT) with a minimum score of 88 points
• TOEFL Paper-Based Test (PBT) conducted at MUD with a minimum score of 570s
• IELTS band score 6.5 (no sub-score below 6.0)
• Cambridge English Certificate (Certificate of Advanced English): C1
