The Arabic Language Centre (ALC) is a specialized training institute for learning Arabic as a foreign language for both kids and adults. It was founded in 1980 at the Dubai World Trade Centre by 'Maliha Wehbe'. In the beginning, the focus was on Arabic classes for adults but later on the scope of services was expanded in 1988 as the aim was to reach the younger audience as well.
