Certified Infection Prevention and Control & CBIC Preparatory Course

Designed for anyone who has a responsibility in the prevention and control of infections as part of their role in a healthcare organization. 

Participants will have gained an overview of the key elements of infection control, understand how infections might occur and how good practice can reduce their and prevent and control the infection and to be prepared as possible, acquire knowledge and skills and practice questions to pass the CIC examination by CBIC.

• Develop and manage Infection control program in hospitals, clinics, laboratory and surgical center
• Explain the surveillance plan development, collection and interpretation of surveillance data 
• Explain the outbreak management
• Provide participants with overview of core infections disease processes
• Provide participants with need information of preventing the transmission of infections     
• Explain employee health, management, communication, education and research
• Review various occupational health measures, immunization programs
• Explain steps of cleaning, disinfection, sterilization and asepsis
